Delaware's community of scholars and professionals is committed to your success - both while you're in school and as you build a foundation for future careers and professional schools. The reality of college life is that there are times when students truly need our support. And at those times, our students can count on the resources and professionals at the centers listed below.
Campus Services for Students
- The Americans with Disabilities Act, ADA Office, provides resources and reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities other than learning disabilities and ADHD (see AEC below). Information is also available about access to programs and services throughout the entire community.
- The Academic Enrichment Center provides tutoring, services for eligible students with learning disabilities/ADHD, and support for pre-college students.
- The college advisement centers help students choose a discipline and meet degree requirements.
- The Career Services Center provides a wealth of career-related opportunities: individual counseling, workshops, resumé critiques, career fairs, internship and part-time opportunities, and the Campus Interview Program.
- The Center for Black Culture provides support for African American students through mentoring, enrichment opportunities, and special events.
- The Center for Counseling and Student Development offers programs for both personal and career development.
- The English Language Institute helps students learning English as a second language.
- Foreign Student and Scholar Services provides support for foreign students at UD.
- Preparatory Mathematics Tutorial Laboratory provides tutorial support for preparatory mathematics courses at UD.
- Student Health Services offers health education and medical services.
- Student Services for Athletes provides academic counseling and other services for student athletes.
- The Writing Center offers one-on-one writing instruction and even a "Grammar Hotline."
- The Student Services Building offers one stop shopping for registration, accounts, and more.
