The Administration and Family Policy Concentration emphasizes program development, management, advocacy, and social policy. Students enter careers or graduate study in public administration, community development and community psychology, family policy and family studies, family law, and social work.

AREAS OF EMPHASIS AT DELAWARE

The Human Services concentration in Administration and Family Policy is designed for students with interests in developing and administering human service programs, as well as making societal changes through advocacy and social policy. The Department of Individual and Family Studies prepares students for rewarding careers with individuals and families through the lifespan. The Human Services major has two concentrations: Clinical Services, and Administration and Family Policy. Graduates become leaders in early education, family support, and the non-profit, and profit sector, with many students pursuing advanced study. Students value the department’s close faculty-student relationships, its varied field and international experiences, and its many opportunities for undergraduate research.
