AREA OF EMPHASIS AT DELAWARE
The Department of Business Administration offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. The Management major develops the necessary skills to effectively plan, organize, direct and control behaviors within an organization to accomplish a mission through the division of labor. Like all programs in the Department of Business Administration, the program provides a broad liberal arts education in the first half of the program through a variety of courses in liberal arts and sciences. The program design provides flexibility in the selection of humanities and social and natural science courses. The second half of the program is concentrated in the business core and the professional Management major. Business courses emphasize the application of scientifically verified business principles to complex business situations.
