AREA OF EMPHASIS AT DELAWARE
The Department of Accounting and MIS offers the Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Master of Science in Information Systems & Technology Management degrees. The study of MIS includes a study of core computer science concepts but differs from traditional computer science in that MIS concentrates on the application and management of computerized information systems in business. The undergraduate program is designed to prepare the student for an MIS career in business, consulting, or government. The graduate program is designed to prepare a person with a background and work experience in business, or a technical field such as engineering, for an MIS career path in business, consulting, or government.
