The Organizational & Community Leadership major prepares students to address complex societal problems. Students practice creative approaches to problem solving; learn how to work effectively in teams; practice effective communication strategies; and discover innovative approaches for decision making.
AREA OF EMPHASIS AT DELAWARE
Organizational and Community Leadership majors accept the challenge of leadership in an increasingly complex, global, and fast-paced world. Our graduates are prepared to mobilize people for ethical, socially responsible, and sustainable change that improves the lives of individuals, communities, organizations, and society. Our majors have the opportunity to focus on an area of interest specific to their future career goals or to take an appropriate minor outside the leadership major. Current defined areas of interest are: Environmental Sustainability, Intercultural Dynamics, Public Policy, and Global Perspectives.
