Sit in on a Class or Visit an Academic Department
Fascinated by Physics? Excited by Economics? Once you have signed up for either the 9-11:30 or 1-3:30 information session and tour, contact the academic department of your choice at least five days in advance of your scheduled visit and arrange to attend a class, peek in at our facilities, or speak with a member of the department in person. All contact information is available here. Please note that classroom visits are not available on Saturdays and during final exam and recess periods.
Attend an Athletic Event
The University is home to 23 varsity teams participating in Division I athletics. We are the Fightin’ Blue Hens and proud of it! Explore the Cultural Riches of Delaware
Many know of Delaware’s glittering beaches to the south, but we are equally as proud of our cultural riches to the north, both in-state and in neighboring states. The area surrounding the University of Delaware abounds in museums and cultural attractions, including Winterthur, downtown Wilmington’s Riverfront Park and restored Grand Opera House, Old New Castle, and nearby Pennsylvania’s Longwood Gardens, Lancaster County’s Amish community, and the Brandywine River Museum, home to paintings by the Wyeth family.
